We have been happy with this cross. The foals tend to have strong, solid conformation and pretty heads. They are also generally quiet and easy to handle. We have kept two of Trixie's foals and a grand-foal because of her easy nature.

​​​This foal is by TAMU Nu Bar Cody. Cody is siring USTRC and weekend roping heelers who are winning cash, saddles, buckles, and trailers. He is broke to ride but was only shown in hand. When we had cows, we would use him to work them. He has smooth, easy gaits to ride and is very quick-legged. Cody  is by Eds Cody,  (NRHA $9,037) was shown by Tim McQuay to; NRHA Reserve World Champion, Saddlesmith Champion, and NRHA Derby Open class champion. Ed's offspring have now earned over $26,000 in NRHA earnings and 111 AQHA points. Eds Cody is by Topsail Cody ($29,237 LTE NRHA. Topsail Cody is a million dollar NRHA sire, is a member of the NRHA Hall of Fame, and is an NRHA and AQHA world champion. Topsail Cody is also NRHA #6 all time leading sire and AQHA all time leading sire for performance ROM.

This foal is out of  Whips N Diamonds. Trixie is a broke riding horse. We ride her around the ranch a few times a year and she is always very quiet and easy going.  Trixie is by Whipp Hancock Xavier who is a product of the famous Broken Bones Cattle Company. He has the desirable blue roan color and a long heritage of hard working and using type horses. Whipp Hancock Xavier is by Pede Hancock Boy (183 AQHA Open Performance points, a 2002 Open Performance ROM, 2003 Superior Tie Down Roping, and qualified for the 2004 World Show in Sr Tie Down Roping, Sr Heading and Sr Heeling. Pede Hancock Boy is by Hancocks Blue Boy (2528432) 1986 blue roan stallion, sire of 10 performing offspring with earnings of $3,937 and 498 AQHA points. sire of BLUE BOYS DRIFTER ($3,938 and 233.5 AQHA points: 4th AQHA High Point Junior Heeling, Superior Heeling),  TIMBER HAWK HANCOCK (55 AQHA points: Open Perf.
