We bought Star at the 2011 San
Antonio Select Sale. We can't wait to see her blossom as a 2 year old.
Star is a tall and athletically built filly. She has many generations of
roping and ranch horse heritage in her pedigree.
Star is by Zans Lone Drifter,
a finished steer roping horse
whose oldest foals are 4 year olds in 2012. Zans Lone Drifter is by
Ikes Lowry Boy
(finished steer roping horse with money earned on the heading and
heeling side). Ikes Lowry Boy is by
Lone Drifter (25% Driftwood and has
produced PRCA, WPRA and USTRC Futurity performers including PC
Sumdrifter with LTE of $30,000 and PC Lonewood Ike with LTE of
$265,000). Lone Drifter is by
Driftwood Ike (54 AQHA points, Open
performance ROM, 2nd High Point Team Roping horse in 1969 and a leading
sire of roping and rodeo performance horses). Driftwood Ike was by
Driftwood (AQHA Hall of Fame and a founding sire of rodeo performance
horses).
Star is out of Spark Olena Bar by Zan Parr Spark. She has other notable
