At Harris Ranch we are striving to combine the adaptability of the Santa Gertrudis with the desirable market characteristics of the Angus.
We maintain a small herd of registered Santa Gertrudis for replacement use and for the show ring.
We also have a herd of commercial Angus cows that are bred to a registered Santa Gertrudis bull. These F-1 crosses are registered with the Santa Gertrudis Association as a part of their Star 5 and Grade Up programs.
Calves from our registered and commercial herd are always for sale as possible show prospects or replacements.
